Product description
Modern industries require compressed air that is increasingly filtered with low dew point and condensate. Today, the equipment are more sophisticated and they are requiring compressed air impurities free than the usually content. The main development of the new dryers DB11-130 are: - expansion upwards of the range 1.548 m3/h capacity; comparing the previus size.

- new control panel with two manometers and lights to indicate the dryer status;

- galvanized piping and stainless steel 3 way valve-

Welded Vessels : DB 65 up to 130 Difference with DB50 - 101 - bigger silencers and bigger angle seat valves
- increase efficiency of purge for better desiccant regeneration, leading to better use of desiccant, less desiccant needed per flow
- reduce noise level
- manifold connecting two silencers to double silencer’s capacity (on DB110 and DB130)
- Silencers are equipped with safety valves

Running principles
The adsorption drying principle is based on the ability of the desiccant material to adsorb water vapour in the compressed air. During the drying cycle, water vapour is adsorbed onto the surface of the desiccant. At the same time, the other tower is purged by a small quantity of dried air passing over the wet desiccant material. The resulting moisture is vented to atmosphere. A After re pressurization, the unit is then ready for a new drying cycle.
1 - Clean air entry Micronic and sub micronic filtration remove dirt particles and protect the desiccant material against any contamination, thus giving an extended operational life.
2 - Column A In the drying column, the air flows from the bottom to the top. The desiccant material captures moisture contained in the air. After the DB dryer air is filtered through a particle filter, D/D, which eliminates desiccant dust.
3 - Column B During regeneration: A small amount of dry air passes from column A and is used to remove moisture from the desiccant material, which is then discharged to atmosphere through a silencer to give a low noise level.
4 - Change Over Cycle When the purge process is finished and column B is dry, (controlled by a timer in the case of DB 05-340 E, and dependant on the dew point for DB 23-340 X), column B is pressurized, and a 3-way valve reverses the flow: B column becomes the drying column, and column A starts being regenerated.
