Rollair® N2 500-900
Product description
With a single unit, it is possible to supply Nitrogen and Air, optimising the space and avoiding the need of Nitrogen procurement. Nitrogen available WHERE, HOW, AND WHEN IT IS NEEDED thanks to N2ADVANTAGES:- no more dangers related to storing and handling Nitrogen bottles;
- no agreements with bottle suppliers, therefore a simplified administration allowing saving money and time;
- no time loss in handling and replacing the bottles;
- a constant availability; no worries related to the procurement of thebottles;
- space saving.
USES:Nitrogen is a gas available in atmospheric air at 78%. Thanks to its features it is more suitable, as an alternative to compressed air, for different production processes among which: - tyre inflating;
- foodstuffs packaging;
- bottling of liquids;
- laser cutting;
- production of electronic components.
One of more and more applied uses of Nitrogen is the inflation of tyres. Here below, some preview information on this topic. NITROGEN FOR INFLATING TYRESUsually a pressure reduction of the Yire is related to temperature modifications and/or leaks from the valve of the tyre itself. A phenomenon most of the people don’t know, which however should not be neglected, is the outflow of oxygen molecules from the tyre itself. This occurs because the Oxygen molecules, which are smaller than the Nitrogen ones, pass through the pores of the compound of the tyre itself, contrary to those of Nitrogen that cannot pass through due to their size. This pressure reduction, in an average equal to 0.08 bar/month, increases the consumptions, reduces the life-cycle of the tyre and increases the possibility of skidding. Moreover, AIR causes:- oxidation of the rim
- oxidation of the tyre.
NITROGEN instead reduces:- fuel consumption
- drifting hazard
- braking time
- number of inflations (three times smaller)
- rim and tyre oxidation
- hazard of tyre explosion (nitrogen is an inert gas and does not change
- its features when temperature changes).
Using NITROGEN, it is possible to increase:- the travelling safety and comfort
- the life-cycle of the tyre
