Reduced off load running
A typical compressor will consume 25 to 40% of the full load power when running off load.
An efficient management of the compressor priority and the net work pressure will easely avoid this energy wastage.

By optimising the load ratio of each compressor, the LEADAIR will reduce the off load running of the compressors when not required.
A reduction in off load running will lead to significant energy savings.

Equal running hours
Often used with compressors of equal size, this mode will ensure an equal wear of all compressors in the system, while respecting the priority classes.

Regardless of the number of compressors installed the single air pressure sensor of the LEADAIR will avoid the large pressure differential of a typical cascade control.
By operating all the available compressors within one pressure band significant energy savings can be achieved.
Approximately 7% of the total power consumed by an air compressor can be reduced by lowering the air pressure by 1 bar.

Classic Cascade Control WITHOUT LEADAIR^®
Within a minimum differential of 0,2 bar, the LEADAIR^® avoids damping due to a strict control, independently of the air demand fluctuations.

Pressure timers allow the setting of different pressure band to fix the correct pressure required by the production.
